The Competition & How to Enter

  • The competition is organized by the Gallen Hotel Group across our 3 hotels, Jacksons Hotel, Ballybofey, Villa Rose Hotel, Ballybofey & An Chúirt Hotel, Gweedore.
  • By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
  • The competition runs from Sunday, 5th January, 2025, to Friday, 11th April, 2025, at 5pm, with the winner being announced on Friday, 18th April, 2025. Entries received after 5pm on Friday, 11th April, 2025, will not be considered.
  • The competition is open to all couples who book their date & pay their non-refundable deposit between Sunday, 5th January 2025 and Friday, 11th April 2025.
  • The winner will be announced on Friday, 18th April, 2025.
  • Applies to weddings that are booked to take place during 2025 or 2026 dates only.
  • Applies to weddings with confirmed minimum numbers of 120 adult guests.
  • Entrants must have a valid wedding date/location confirmed.
  • Full contact details for both parties to be provided at time of entry.
  • Only one entry per couple permitted.

The Prize

  • The prize includes €5,000 off the total cost of your wedding & will be deducted from your final bill.
  • The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and not redeemable for cash or other alternatives.
  • Any additional costs or requirements not specified as part of the prize are the responsibility of the winner.

Winner Selection and Notification

  • Winners will be selected at random draw on the 18th April 2025.
  • Winners will be notified via phone & then announced on our social media channels on that date.
  • The winner should be available by phone at on 18th April 2025 to take a call to confirm the prize.
  • Wedding will take place at your chosen hotel within the Gallen Group.

Usage of Entry Materials

  • By entering & winning the competition the Gallen Group would request permission to use of any photos and/or video footage from the wedding for our social platforms for promotional purposes without additional compensation.

Data Protection

  • Personal data collected will only be used for the purposes of administering the competition and in detailing your wedding at your hotel of choice within the Gallen Group.

Disqualification

  • Entries that are incomplete, fraudulent, or do not adhere to these terms will be disqualified.
  • The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify participants for any breach of these Terms and Conditions.
